Equilibrium Diet Liver Flush – Equilibrium Diet

Liver Flush

LIVER FLUSH

Liver flushes drastically reduce the toxic load your liver is carrying around and increase the liver’s efficiency and functionality. Liver flushes are wonderful for chronic illnesses, allergies, gallbladder problems, hormonal imbalances, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. There are entire books on the history and science behind liver flushes but I have provided a general overview of this time-tested remedy here.

All gallstones begin in the liver as liver stones and then move down the bile duct and get lodged in the gallbladder where they may calcify into hard stones. A liver flush naturally sucks out some of the gallstones and liver stones by encouraging the body to drop the stones into the small intestine to then be eliminated through the stool.

Remember, the liver flush should not be attempted until one has eaten a diet free from sugar, preservatives, and refined foods for at least thirty days.

1. Drink apple juice or malic acid for six days (32 ounces per day between meals).
2. During the six days of apple juice be sure to follow the Equilibrium Diet, which cuts out caffeine, meat at night, sugar, refined products, and processed foods.
3. On the sixth day you will drink all of your apple juice between breakfast and lunch (all 32 ounces) and you should not eat or drink anything but water after 2:00 p.m.
4. At 6:00 p.m. on the sixth day drink Epsom salt water (3/4 cup water with 1 tablespoon Epsom salt, which is magnesium sulfate).
5. At 8:00 p.m. drink another ¾ cup of Epsom salt water
6. At 10:00 p.m. – the actual flush. Mix ¾ cup of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice with ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil. Put in a glass jar and shake vigorously. Chug immediately and lie down in bed on your back; focus on your liver for twenty minutes and then go to sleep.
7. At 6:00 and 8:00 the next morning you should drink additional rounds of ¾ cup water and 1 tablespoon Epsom salts.
8. At 9:00 a.m. you may start eating/drinking normally but lightly. Your body has just undergone big changes so take it easy on your liver for the next few days!

The malic acid in apple juice softens the stones to make them easier to pass and loosens them from the liver tissues. The apple juice should never include added sugar. If you are sensitive to the sugar, you can replace all or part of the 32 ounces a day with raw apple cider vinegar (2 tbsp. = 1 glass or 8 ounces of apple juice), some cranberry juice, or malic acid powder in water. I have always seen the best results using just apple juice (and sometimes a little apple cider vinegar added to the apple juice).

The olive oil and citrus carry a strong negative charge and the stones are positively charged. A sort of magnetic attraction occurs and the stones rush out to meet the negatively charged oil mixture.

Note: Some nausea is common during your first liver flush when so many stones are flushed out that the stones are actually backed up into the stomach cavity (this usually occurs in the middle of the night and will pass eventually). Even with the risk of nausea, the results of the liver flush are well worth the cost with immediate increases in energy, flexibility, and sharp thinking.

The key with the liver flush is to keep doing them every four to six weeks until you do not pass any stones. For most Americans this may take from six to twelve flushes. I had to flush probably ten times before I didn’t see any stones and I’ve passed thousands of liver stones ranging in size from a pinhead to almost golf-ball sized.
